Ready, steady, charity: Trolley Race a big success
Ward 7 does their part for charity.
The DA, the community, family members and activists hosted a trolley run for charity over the weekend (Saturday 4 July).
Early that morning DA councillor of Ward 7, Craig Harrison, Eddie Krog, chairperson of Ward 7 and members gathered in their blue DA shirts armed with trolleys ready to take on the streets.
They started off in Condor Road in Helikon Park and worked their way around the streets of the area.

This is a yearly event where the DA goes from house to house, collecting food, clothing and donations for a charity in Randfontein.
Last year this proved to be a huge success and this year also didn’t disappoint as they collected a bakkie load full of clothes and groceries worth R2 000. They also received about R160 cash through various donations from the community.
Harrison and his team would like to thank all the residents of Helikon Park for their kindness in giving and generous donations.
