Sergeant Linkie Lefakane, Bekkersdal Police Station’s spokesperson, said it is alleged that the victim was driving along the N12 road near Zuurbekom when he noticed a black male throw himself down next to his vehicle.
“The victim immediately applied the brakes and stopped to investigate. As he was about to see if the person was alright, he noticed two males shouting at him, accusing him of killing someone,” said Lefakane.
He was then hit on the head with an object and dragged into the back of his vehicle. One man climbed into the back with him, while the other two climbed in the front and drove off. They continued driving until they came across a police patrol in Doornkop.
