A 22-year-old man was arrested at the Westonaria taxi rank yesterday (Thursday, 22 June) for being in possession of drugs and dagga.
Warrant Officer Raymond Sebonyane, Westonaria Police spokesperson said while Constables Radebe and Nyuli were conducting routine crime-prevention duties in the area, they searched the suspect and found him in possession of drugs and dagga with an estimated street value of R1 214.

The suspect is expected to appear in the Westonaria Magistrates’ Court soon.
The Westonaria Police station commander, Colonel Selvan Moonsamy commended the members for their vigilance.
