A 45-year-old man, resident in Wedela, has been arrested for the rape of his 14-year-old stepdaughter.
These is just one of the successes police officers on the West Rand Cluster achieved last week, when they made a total of 316 arrests.

Police members also worked tirelessly to address crimes such as driving under the influence, possession of and dealing in drugs, and liquor-related offences.
Road traffic offences were also addressed in partnership with other law enforcement agencies, throughout the Cluster.
“We again applaud our members for their dedication and acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of our CPFs in their efforts to fight crime and bring perpetrators to book.
The police crime prevention operations will continue non-stop in the West Rand Cluster, to ensure the safety of our community” said Major General Anna Mateisi, the West Rand Cluster commander.
