Mom-daughters held at gunpoint in home invastion

Mother with her 15, 21 and 25-year-old daughters were forced into a bedroom during a home invasion in Finsbury recently.

A Finsbury mother and her three daughters survived a scary home invasion last week.

Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale, West Rand Police Cluster spokesperson, has confirmed that a house robbery occurred at about 9.30pm in Drakensberg Street on Thursday, 12 October.

Mashale said it is believed four people were in the house at the time of the incident – a mother, and her three daughters, aged 15, 21 and 25 respectively.

“Four suspects entered their home. They allegedly threatened the victims with a firearm and ordered them to the bedroom. They robbed the victims of a television and a number of cellphones,” Mashale said.

No serious injuries were reported. The suspects fled the scene in a white Citroen with an unknown registration number.
