Bekkersdal Police have launched a manhunt for a trio of suspects who recently robbed a man of his firearm in Simunye.
Sergeant Linkie Lefakane, Bekkersdal Police spokesperson, said the incident took place at about 10.30pm on Saturday, 11 November.

“It is alleged the victim was walking through the veld in Simunye when he was attacked by the trio. One of them grabbed him and held a knife to his neck while the other two searched him and removed his firearm and the cash in his pocket.
“They then told him not to look at them and fled on foot. The suspects are still at large.”
