One dead, four injured in vehicle roll over
One killed, four injured in vehicle roll over in Westonaria yesterday.
A man was killed and four others were injured – among them a 7-month-old baby – when a light motor vehicle rolled on the gravel surface of Glenharvie Road in Westonaria during the afternoon of Wednesday, 29 November.
Russel Meiring, the spokesperson for ER24 said,”ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find a light motor vehicle lying on its roof in the middle of the road.”

The body of a man, believed to be the driver, was found lying a few metres away from the vehicle.
Two women, a man and a 7-month-old boy had already climbed out of the vehicle and were found seated on the side of the road.
“Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life. Nothing more could be done for him and he was declared dead,” said Meiring.
The four other patients were assessed and found to have sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Lenmed Randfontein Hospital for further treatment.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
