Teenager drowns at resort
Boy, allegedly 13 years of age, dies after resort drowning incident.
A teenage boy, believed to be 13 years old, tragically drowned in a pool at a resort in Carletonville on Thursday, 6 December.
According to Annine Siddall, ER24 spokesperson, “Paramedics arrived at the scene at about 2.40pm where bystanders were performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the teenager.
“Shortly after the paramedics took over, they realised there was nothing more they could do to help the teen and he was declared dead on the scene.

The details surrounding the incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations,” said Siddall.
