Four injured when bakkie rolls

Bakkie rolls in Carletonville over the weekend, leaving four men injured.

Four men travelling in a bakkie were injured when their vehicle rolled on the R500 in Carletonville on Saturday morning (9 December).

ER24 paramedics along with other emergency found the bakkie on the side of the road.

Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson said, “The four occupants who had been in the bakkie when it rolled were found walking around on the scene. The paramedics assessed them and found that the men aged between 30 and 50 had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. They were treated for their injuries and transported to the Fountain and Carletonville Provincial Hospitals for further treatment.”

The exact cause of the incident is not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
