Multiple-vehicle crash leaves five injured
Five people were left injured following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Main Reef Road and 1st Street last Friday.
Five people were left injured following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Main Reef Road and 1st Street in Randfontein on the afternoon of Friday, 29 June.
Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson said, “ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 1.37pm to find both wrecked vehicles in the middle of the intersection.

Two people were found seated on the sidewalk while three others were found seated inside one of the vehicles. Paramedics assessed the patients and found that all five had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
“Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene. The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.”
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
