An attempted robbery took place on the corner of 6th Street and Main Reef Road in the Randfontein CBD a short while ago.
Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein Police spokesperson confirmed the incident.

Police are investigating. Numerous spent cartridges were found scattered on the scene.
