RCA goes blue instead of red on Valentine’s Day

Randfontein Christian Academy (RCA) celebrated Blue Friendship Day on 14 February.

Instead of going big in red all in the name of Valentine’s Day on Thursday, 14 February, Randfontein Christian Academy (RCA) celebrated Blue Friendship Day.

According to Vanessa Dreyer, RCA spokesperson, the school held an indoor picnic during which friendships among learners were nurtured.

“We do not celebrate love with the little ones because we don’t think it is appropriate for them; instead, we celebrated friendship among our school learners.”

Vanessa added that all the learners exchanged letters in which they declared their friendship.
