Biker seriously injured on pothole-infested road

A vehicle and a motorcycle allegedly collided head-on on a pothole-infested road in Finsbury on Tuesday afternoon, leaving the motorcyclist seriously injured.

A collision on a pothole-infested Condor Drive in Finsbury left a motorcyclist with serious injuries on Tuesday afternoon (19 February).

Although the exact cause of the accident is unknown at this stage, the Herald was told on scene that a motorbike and vehicle had allegedly collided head-on.

The accident caused severe traffic congestion on the road as various emergency services tried to stabilise the motorcyclist. He was eventually transported to hospital.

The driver of the vehicle escaped injury but the motorcyclist’s leg is seriously injured.
