#MunicipalMonday: Water outside school just water? Mom expresses concern

VIDEO: A mom is worried about water running outside her daughter's school.

The mother of a learner at a local school is concerned about the dirty water running past her daughter’s school in Homelake.

The mother fears for the worst, as it could possibly be sewage and contain all sorts of germs. Monica Kotze said she became aware of the running water when the school re-opened in January.

She added this has left her worried because she has seen learners put their schoolbags into the water and they might therefore be carrying all kinds of bacteria into their homes.

As you can see, it’s dirty water and no one knows what it could be carrying,” she said.

She went on to say that she worries every time she drops off her daughter and has pleaded for the issue to be sorted out as it has been going on for far too long.

The starting point of water that has left a local mother worried.
The water is believed to have been running for five months.
