Eskom announced this morning that loadshedding will continue from 8am today, 9 January, until 6am on Friday.
Additional generation capacity had been lost overnight with breakdowns of over 14 000MW. Eskom further reminded customers that loadshedding is an essential and controlled measure to ensure that the integrity of the grid is not compromised.
