The Disciples are spreading hope in lockdown

“… we forget to pray … All we have to do is lift up our heads, and give praise,” the song concluded.

The Afro-pop hip hop band, The Disciples, which was formed early last year, is spreading hope and unity through the community with their performances.

The group started off with only three members, and has now grown to five. Amid the discouraging and depressing situation in our country, these five disciples are spreading hope to a community in lockdown.

The group members, Dilaman Watts, Mbongeni Gerald, Ofentse Sebolai, Arinze Ndukaku and Mezi Ogbonna shared a heartfelt message and dedicated one of their songs, Arise and Shine, with all community members during the national pandemic.

“… we forget to pray … All we have to do is lift up our heads, and give praise,” the song concluded.
