'The man did not arrive home this morning after working night shift' – Randfontein Police.

A man was found dead inside the Kocksoord Municipal Library early on Saturday morning, 18 July.

Sergeant Carmen Hendricks, the Randfontein Police spokesperson confirmed that an inquest has been launched. She confirmed the 40-year-old man was a security guard at the library.

Hendricks said the man did not arrive home this morning after working night shift.

His wife went to his workplace where she discovered his body just before 8am.

“More details about the case cannot be revealed at this stage. An inquest is under way,” Hendricks told the Herald on Saturday morning.
