Lenmed’s stance on Covid-19

‘Our staff and facilities are prepared for the Covid-19 outbreak’ – Lenmed Randfontein Private Hospital.

With Covid-19 infections increasing daily across the country, Lenmed Randfontein Private Hospital assured the public that the safety of their patients, employees, visitors, doctors and the community members is their priority.

Marietha van Vuuren, hospital manager at Lenmed Randfontein Private Hospital said their staff and facilities are prepared for the Covid-19 outbreak and that their procedures are aligned with the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) guidelines.

Patients with severe Covid-19 symptoms such as shortness of breath are requested to call ahead to the Accident and Emergency Department to arrange for an assessment and/ or possible admission.

“All other patients, including those with mild symptoms or those seeking testing are requested to contact their GPs for advice.”
