A man was killed when a truck hit the bicycle he was riding on Ventersdorp Road in Elandsvlei on Tuesday afternoon, 4 August.

Ineke van Huyssteen, ER24 spokesperson said they arrived shortly after 3pm and found the cyclist lying on the road.

Unfortunately, the man showed no signs of life and he was declared dead on scene by paramedics.”

She added the exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to them but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
