Motorcyclist allegedly loses control, crashes

'Reports from the scene indicate that a motorcyclist had lost control resulting in the bike leaving the road' – Netcare 911.

A man sustained serious injuries following a motorcycle crash on early on Saturday morning, 5 September.

Shawn Herbst, Netcare 911 spokesperson said they responded to reports of a collision on the Ventersdorp Road near the N14 in Randfontein shortly after midnight. “Reports from the scene indicate that a motorcyclist had lost control, resulting in the bike leaving the road.

The patient, an adult male was found to have sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise him. Once treated the patient was transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.”
