This week’s Covid-19 battle plan in Rand West City
The Gauteng Health Department will continue providing pop-up sites for health screening from July 26 to July 30. Here is where they will be in Rand West City.
The West Rand District Health Department extended an invitation to the community to get free Covid-19 testing done at their sites this week.
The department’s communications officer, Nomagugu Hloma said in addition to the coronavirus tests, HIV, TB and blood pressure tests will also be done for free this week from Monday, July 26 to Friday, July 30. The sites are operational from 09:00 to 15:00.
Testing will be done at the following sites:
• Monday, July 26 at Mohlakeng Recreational Centre
• Tuesday, July 27 at Jabulani informal settlement
• Wednesday, July 28 at Kocksoord Spar and Bekkersdal taxi rank
• Thursday, July 29 at Westonaria Pick n Pay Centre
• Friday, July 30 at Afri Village in Greenhills
Hloma said on the other days residents can get tested at their local clinics and healthcare facilities.
