2 Westonaria reservoirs run dry as water supply is monitored
Two Glenharvie reservoirs are at 0% as Rand West City monitors water levels following the Eikenhof Booster Station power outage.
Following a complete power outage at Rand Water’s Eikenhof Booster Station last weekend, Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM) issued a statement informing residents of the current reservoir levels in the Westonaria system.

The current reservoir levels are as follows:
• Waterpan: 65%
• Westonaria 1: 65%
• Westonaria 2: 70%
• Westonaria 3: 75%
• Hillshaven: 80%
• Glenharvie 1: 0%
• Glenharvie 2: 0%
The municipality revealed that it will continue monitoring reservoir levels and the water supply to affected communities. They also apologised for the inconvenience caused and said it will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.
