Covid-19 battle plan continues; Where to get tested in Rand West City
The Gauteng Health Department will continue providing pop-up sites for health screening from August 2 to August 6. Here is where they will be in Rand West City.
The West Rand District Health Department is inviting the community to get free Covid-19 tests done at their sites this week.
The department’s communications officer, Nomagugu Hloma said in addition to the coronavirus tests, HIV, TB and blood pressure tests will also be done for free this week from Monday, August 2 until Friday, August 6. The sites are operational from 09:00 to 15:00.
Testing will be done at the following sites:
• Monday, August 2 at Westonaria Shoprite
• Tuesday, August 3 at Pick n Pay Shopping Centre (Ward 26), and Mohlakeng Extension 7
• Wednesday, August 4 at Holomisa sports ground, and Brandvlei OR Tambo (Ward 9)
• Thursday, August 5 at Westonaria Pick n Pay Centre
• Friday, August 6 at Baipei
Hloma said on the other days residents can get tested at their local clinics and healthcare facilities.
