Women in law enforcement celebrated during operation

Women in law enforcement agencies were deployed to a special operation held between Westonaria and Fochville for National Women's Day.

Women in law enforcement were deployed to a special operation held on the N12 between Westonaria and Fochville to mark National Women’s Day.

According to the senior communications officer of the Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM), Godfrey Moutloali, the purpose was to demonstrate that women can do what their male counterparts can do.

The women-only operation was held between Westonaria and Fochville along the N12. Photo submitted.

“Gone are the days when law enforcement was dominated by men. We want to reteach people that what a man can do, a woman can do too. Behind every successful man is a strong woman who made it possible,” Moutloali added.
