The saga continues as Friday, 20 August marks day nine of residents of Venterspos having to make do without electricity.
Despite their numerous calls for help going unanswered, life has to go on, and some of the residents have shared photos with the Herald of how they’ve been getting by.
The only way to get a decent bath is to heat water on an open fire or a gas stove, and candles and torches provide light.
