Woman recalls horror of being raped for days: Man wanted

'She woke up in an unfamiliar room with four other victims where they were kept and raped for two days' – cops.

Randfontein police are searching for the man pictured in connection with rape and kidnapping.

According to West Rand District Police spokesperson Captain Solomon Sibiya, the victim was on her way to church on May 1 when she met an unknown man. He later lured her into becoming his friend.

The victim alleged that she met the man after church once again and they went to a pizza shop where he bought meals which they ate. The man later went to a nearby grocery store to buy juice and as they sat and enjoyed their juice, the victim allegedly passed out.

“She woke up in an unfamiliar room with four other victims where they were kept and raped for two days,” said Captain Sibiya.

Randfontein police are appealing to members of the public who know or recognise this man to call the investigating officer Constable Lenyai on 073 915 3918 or the nearest police station.

Alternatively the public can call the Crime Stop Line on 08600 10111 or provide any tipoff via the My SAPS app.
