Councillor Alwyn van Tonder sent an update regarding the power outage in Randpoort, Randgate and Homelake.

According to van Tonder, the team on-site at the Market Substation has repaired a cable termination as well as a pressure test that was performed on the cable.
“The transformer has been tested and they will now do the reconnection and then start to switch on the areas,” Van Tonder said.
An update will follow once further information on the matter has been given.
