Main Reef Road crash claims one life
One person died and two others were taken to hospital after a collision on Main Reef Road on Monday morning.
Authorities have confirmed that one person was killed in an incident involving vehicles allegedly travelling in close proximity on Main Reef Road (R28) on December 29.
CPF chairperson Ruan Sheppard said he is aware of the crash, which occurred in the early hours of the morning.

Mapogo A Mathamaga operational manager Mac van Zyl said witnesses reported that the two vehicles were speeding before one of them lost control, struck an electrical box and overturned.
He added that alcohol was found at the scene.
One person was killed and two others were taken to hospital,” Van Zyl said.
The Randfontein Herald also contacted police spokesperson Captain Tintswalo Sibeko, as well as national and provincial spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, who were unable to confirm the incident at this stage.
