Active crime scene closes Ventersdorp Road in both directions

A large section of Ventersdorp Road in Randridge Agricultural Holdings is closed off in both directions following a reported shooting this morning, August 5.

Randfontein Herald journalists are currently on the scene to verify details.

“There is a heavy police presence and motorists are advised to take an alternate route,” said journalist Dominique Duvenhage.

According to initial observations, the scene is active between two fields on Ventersdorp Road. A white vehicle is stationary on the road with its bonnet open and doors ajar. Intelligence and Vispol units are already on scene, with additional police support expected to arrive shortly.
