Power to be interrupted at Drowel substation

Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM) together with power utility Eskom is set to implement planned power interruptions at the Drowel substation.

This is according to RWCLM spokesperson Phillip Montshiwa who confirmed that the power cuts will be from 08:00 to 18:00 on December 11.

“Please note that Eskom and RWCLM will conduct scheduled preventive maintenance at the Drowel substation. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and will make every effort to promptly restore the electricity. Please exercise caution with all electrical apparatus, assuming they are live,” said Montshiwa.
