Water issue resolved at Dan Tloome, says municipality

The municipality has confirmed that taps are finally running again after a water crisis in Dan Tloome sparked public outrage.

Residents of the Dan Tloome Mega Project can finally breathe a sigh of relief after enduring more than two weeks without water.

The outage, caused by a faulty pump motor, had left residents struggling with everyday tasks.

This follows a protest that brought Tafelberg Street to a standstill on September 1. The Rand West City Local Municipality assured residents of the Dan Tloome Mega City Project that their water supply will soon be restored.

Municipal spokesperson Phillip Montshiwa confirmed that the issue has now been resolved.
