Planned power outage to hit Homelake

Residents in Homelake are advised to treat electrical installations as live during a planned power outage on November 6.

Rand West City Local Municipality has issued a notice of a planned power interruption in Homelake scheduled for November 6.

According to municipal spokesperson Phillip Montshiwa, the outage will affect the Homelake area, specifically Homestead Avenue, between 08:00 and 16:00.

He explained that the interruption is necessary to allow the electrical department to replace a damaged street pillar box in the area.

Montshiwa advised all businesses and residents to treat electrical installations and equipment as live during this period.
