Purchase pet products to assist animals in need

No More Tears Animal Rescue is raising funds by hosting a hamper raffle in order to continue helping animals in need.

The hamper, which consists of 101 Pet Products, will be raffled at R10 per ticket. Items inside the hamper include cups, mouse pads, coasters, mutt butter, pet toys and snacks. The hamper is worth R800.

The raffle will end on December 7.

According to volunteer Clarisse Kruger, these fundraising projects help No More Tears to get donations for the animals in their care. The funds contribute to monthly kennel fees, monthly vets costs and medical care as well as food and necessities such as blankets.

“The amount of donations we are currently receiving is quiet at the moment. This makes it very difficult due to the monthly costs we have. We rely solely on community support. Donations of any kind – financial, volunteering, or raising awareness – make a big difference,” Clarisse stated.

With currently 42 dogs in their care, No More Tears hopes to help even more animals.

“The need is so great out there, there are so many animals being mistreated. Care for your animals, protect them and if someone needs help, ask. Be the voice for the voiceless,” she concluded.
