Episcopal Reformed Church honoured

The Church of Scientology gifted the Episcopal Reformed Church an award certificate for their community deeds.

The local clergy from the Episcopal Reformed Church in Mohlakeng recently received an award certificate from the Church of Scientology and Youth for Human Rights.

The certificate was dedicated to the Ministry for Community Voluntarism.

“We invited various community and faith-based organisations to be part of the workshop on Human Rights Day and GBV,” said Arch-Bishop Salathiel Moruledi and Bishop Raymond Setsipane from the Episcopal Reformed church.

“We invited Mohau Home Based Care to be part of the occasion and we partnered with the Church of Scientology and Youth for Human Rights to inform the community on the aspects of human rights,” Bishop Raymond added.

“It is a first of its kind to happen in Rand West City and the West Rand by welcoming both organisations. We hope to stage a similar occasion during June’s Youth Month,” Bishop Moruledi concluded.
