NPO feeds the needy in Toekies

Woody’s Takeaway owner Elizabeth Persent and her team fed over 50 underprivileged residents during the festive season.

The NPO issued food products to people in the community last month, specifically those struggling with substance abuse. According to Elizabeth, this outreach was used as a way to end the year on a strong note.

The NPO has a clear goal for this year.

“We aim to help children in need and help the community. We would like to feed the underprivileged monthly,” she expressed.
