Elderly treated by Ephraim Ministries

The pastors of Ephraim Ministries reached out to the elderly by making their festive season special.

Ephraim Ministries’ Ministry Leadership Team made the elderly of Mohlakeng Old Age Home feel special during the festive season.

Founder and senior pastor at the ministries, Xola Skweit, explained the ministry along with Umphakathi FM visited the old age home last month. They hosted a ‘Thanksgiving’ service to commemorate the elderly.

“We wanted to host this event to celebrate along with the senior citizens who might not have been with their families during Christmas,” he expressed.

On the day, they handed out donations of blankets sponsored by Arenda as well as food supplies donated by PicknPay.

The ministry aims to make its presence known to the community by reaching out to vulnerable community members such as the sick, the elderly and orphaned children.

In 2024, the ministry was able to join forces with the police and the Department of Safety to organise two prayer rallies against substance abuse and gender-based violence.
