Four kittens found dumped in Homelake

Kittens are up for adoption after they were found dumped along Homestead Avenue.

Cast Aways Animal Sanctuary was called to assist with four kittens that were recently found dumped along Homestead Avenue.

Louisa Rossouw, founder of Cast Aways explained the kittens were approximately nine weeks old when they were found.

“They were in good condition, we could see their mom took good care of them. Their mom was, however, not with them,” said Louisa.

The owners of the property where they were dumped luckily took in the kittens. They, however, also had dogs so had to put the kittens in the garage for safety. They fed them dog food that was softened with water as they did not have the funds to buy cat food.

The owners contacted Louisa to assist with the kittens and she immediately went over with kitten pellets and soft food. She then found a place for the kittens at Tiny Whiskers Animal Shelter as she didn’t have any more space to take them in.
