Funds with love for fur babies
No More Tears Animal Rescue held a Valentine's Day Fundraiser for the animals in their care.
No More Tears Animal Rescue held their first project for the year which was a Valentine’s Day Fundraiser.
Clarisse Kruger, a volunteer at No More Tears explained they had various activities to choose from on the day including a picnic, photo session, stalls, a snail farm tour, jumping castles, music, and visitors could meet the No More Tears dogs.

“We would have liked more support from the community on the day, many people were interested and wanted to come but did not turn up. For the people who were there, the No More Tears team is incredibly grateful and we sincerely thank you for the support. We hope to get more support from the community in the future. We hope for success for the year and the projects ahead so that we can help, save and support more animals in and around our community,” said Clarisse.
She noted they unfortunately weren’t able to raise enough funds, but they won’t give up. They also hope to raise more awareness for the needs of animals as well as the animals in their care.

“We do this out of love for the animals and to help, save, and get them off the street, especially abused animals. Every animal deserves a second chance, and our mission is to be able to give it to them.”
They are planning more projects to raise funds including a few markets where they will have a stall with their famous mugs.

“Fundraising projects are so important as the funds raised go directly to the animals in our care. It also creates awareness and the opportunity for the community to get involved. There is such a big need out there for animals in need and the more people from the community can get involved, the more animals can be helped and saved,” she added.
