The Mohlakeng photographer was first introduced to photography by fellow photographer Tseko Motaung while accompanying him at weddings and birthday parties. When Tseko gave Rapule a camera to take photos, that is when Rapule recognised his love for the art form. In 2000, Rapule decided to focus on his photography career.

“I was inspired by fashion photographers who shot for Drum Magazine, True Love and Cosmopolitan Magazine.

“This will help to perfect your photography skills. Also attend workshops, courses and read books,” he concluded.
