Feline families find refuge at Cast Aways Animal Sanctuary

Cast Aways Animal Sanctuary has taken in two mother cats and their 11 kittens, all now safe and thriving.

Cast Aways Animal Sanctuary recently welcomed two feral mother cats along with their newborn kittens.

Louisa Rossouw, founder of Cast Aways, explained that one of the mothers was found at a local hospital two weeks ago, while the other was trapped on October 14 at a nearby factory.

The cat trapped on October 14 is fully feral and had recently given birth to five kittens, while the other, which is semi-wild, had given birth to six.

“All of them are doing well – they’re just eating me out of house and home,” Louisa laughingly said.

The cats and kittens will soon be available for adoption.
