Community unites for paws and cause

The RandWest SPCA’s recent fundraiser brought in much-needed funds to continue their vital community work.

The RandWest SPCA recently held a fundraiser to support its work in the community.

Committee member Brenda Eloff explained that they visited Tambotie Mall to raise funds for the animals in their care, collecting just over R2 000.

Their mascot, Buster, on loan from the Randburg SPCA, was also present. Brenda noted that children especially enjoy meeting Buster and giving him hugs.

“We want to give a heartfelt thank you to the community for your support. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to do the work we do.”

They still need committee members, and if you’d like to make a difference, send an email to chairman@spcarandwest.co.za.
