Cast Aways Animal Sanctuary is appealing to the community for support to care for the animals in their care this January.

Founder Louisa Rossouw said, “We are reaching out during a time of our greatest need. Despite our efforts, we are facing emotional and financial hardships this month, and our beloved animals rely on the community’s kindness.”

For this week alone, the sanctuary urgently needs:

• Seven 10kg bags of dry cat food and one 10kg bag of kitten food, plus soft food for kittens and cat litter
• Seven 40kg bags of dry dog food and one 10kg bag of puppy food
• R1 000 weekly to cover electricity for water pumps and other utilities

Donations can be dropped off at the sanctuary, or they can arrange collection. Louisa can be contacted on 072 812 3333.

“Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. Please help us keep our animals safe and cared for. Your kindness restores hope,” Louisa concluded.
