Concern is mounting following the disappearance of Marius Beneke, an elderly resident of the Wheatlands Old Age Home, who went missing earlier this week.

It is understood that Beneke suffers from dementia, a condition that can cause confusion, memory loss, and disorientation, increasing concerns for his safety. Individuals living with dementia are particularly vulnerable when unattended, as they may struggle to find their way back or seek help.
Descriptions indicate that he is of medium build and has recently shaved off his beard. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any possible sightings.
The family is appealing to anyone who may have seen Marius Beneke or who has information about his whereabouts to come forward urgently. Every minute is critical in ensuring his safe return.
