Toekies Market grows into community favourite

The second Toekies Market brought together 15 diverse vendors, offering everything from delicious food and baked goods to crafts, beauty products, and more, while the community showed strong support for local entrepreneurs.

The second Toekies Market proved to be another resounding success, bringing the community together for a vibrant day of shopping, food, and local talent on July 4.

Fifteen vendors took part in the event, giving visitors a wide variety of stalls to explore. From mouth-watering food and freshly baked treats to unique arts and crafts, the market offered something for everyone. Shoppers could also browse beauty products, including make-up and perfumes, adding even more variety to the diverse selection of goods available.

The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with community members showing strong support for local entrepreneurs and small businesses. The market provided vendors with an opportunity to showcase their products, connect with customers, and grow their brands in a friendly and supportive environment.

Organiser Enrique Bhana expressed his excitement about the continued growth of the market, highlighting the positive turnout and engagement from both vendors and visitors.

“Our vision is to create opportunities for young entrepreneurs and local businesses to showcase their talents, grow their brands, and earn an income. We want to provide a platform where people from all walks of life can come together, support one another, and make a real difference in our community,” said Enrique.
