Taking the lead with big strides

Laerskool Modderfontein Primary's new Grade Ones have big dreams.

The Randfontein Herald visited Laerskool Modderfontein Primary to see plenty of new faces on their first day of Grade One.

Gomolemo Boditse is excited for Grade One.

Gomolemo Boditse expressed he is very excited to be in Grade One and he is looking forward to what it will bring.

Sibusiso Ngwenya.

“I am very happy. I would like to make many friends and play,” said Sibusiso Ngwenya.

Hlomani Nduku is excited for Grade One.

Hlomani Nduku said with a big smile, “I am looking forward to writing. I would like to write some tests.”

Botlhlokwa Seiphetlho.

Botlhlokwa Seiphetlho said he would like to spend time with his family as a Grade One learner.

Makhanani Baloyi cannot wait to start writing.

“I like to be Grade One because then I can write,” Makhanani Baloyi explained.

All of the Grade One learners enjoyed their first day of school with big smiles.
