Jannas dance crew the second-best in SA

Hoërskool Jan Viljoen High School’s dance crew, J-Squad, recently competed in the Dance World Cup South Africa qualifying round, achieving remarkable results.

J-Squad took second place in the Junior Large Group Street Dance Category in Gauteng, and according to the school’s vice principal, Bianca van der Schuff, the crew is now recognised as the second-best Junior Street Dance Crew in South Africa.

As a result of their extraordinary results, these learners have qualified to represent South Africa on the international stage in Burgos, Spain, for the Dance World Cup Finals in July.

The team is proud to represent our country, community and school,” Bianca said.
