Young voices, big impact: Westgold wins yet again

Westgold Primary scoops top honours for the third time, showcasing confidence, teamwork and stellar public speaking skills.

Laerskool Westgold Primary School proved their excellence in public speaking after recently winning the District Level Public Speaking Competition for the third time.

Not only is it Westgold’s third time winning the competition, but it is also the second consecutive year that they have brought the trophy home.

According to school spokesperson Mariska du Plessis, their success story started on August 4 when the team confidently secured first place at the circuit round. Building on that success, they impressed the judges at the district level with their teamwork and stage presence.

“With this victory, Westgold Primary continues to set the standard for excellence in public speaking, inspiring learners to develop confidence and strong communication skills. Westgold is very proud of you,” Mariska concluded.
