Matriculants of 2025 can access their results through the Gauteng Matric Results Online System, which allows learners to view their marks quickly, securely, and conveniently as soon as they are officially released.

Sithembiso Ndlovu, director of Strategy and media liaison at the Gauteng Department of e-Government, said that the day results are released can be both stressful and exciting, and this system was designed with accessibility and ease of use in mind.

“Matriculants can check their results immediately on smartphones, tablets, or other digital devices, allowing them to view their marks in a private and supportive environment, at a time and place convenient for them,” she said.

By providing a reliable digital platform, the Gauteng Provincial Government supports learners as they reach a major milestone in their academic journey and prepare for the next phase of their education, training, or career pathways, Sithembiso added.

Gauteng MEC for the Department of e-Government, Bonginkosi Dhlamini, noted that the system ensures critical academic information is available directly to learners in a secure and protected manner.

“This digital platform ensures that matriculants can access their results easily and securely, while maintaining the privacy they deserve as they reflect on their achievements and prepare for the next steps after completing school,” Bonginkosi said. Matriculants can access their marks by visiting https://results.gauteng.gov.za/.

Sithembiso concluded by advising learners to enter their examination number, click search, and their results will be available from January 13.
