State of affairs in industrial area a concern

I would also like to bring to your attention another major unaddressed issue of empty/ vacated sites/ stands where the grounds/ buildings are being used as springboards for criminal activities and dumping refuse, and the state of garden and grass foliage.

We have been victims of theft, break-ins and damage as a result of fires that were started on these open stands, particularly on Dodge Street, which is very close to a depot.

These areas are a very serious fire and health threat, with the possibility of loss of lives. Despite bringing it to their attention, it seems as if the municipality/ police are just shrugging their shoulders while the situation deteriorates.

Hope your attention and focus on this issue will bring about immediate, long-overdue action.
