Dancers excell at championships

Dancers from Mario Gomes Hip Hop Dance Academy competed in their annual Hip Hop Honours Dance Championships at Silverstar Casino on 7 November.

This event saw all the dancers from Mario Gomes Hip Hop Dance Academy performing in solo, duo, small crew and mega crew performances.

According to the owner of Mario Gomes Hip Hop Dance Academy, Mario Gomes, this event was a great success and saw great skill and dedication from all the dancers who competed in the event.

“I am really proud of each and every one of the dancers that competed in this event. They trully showed great skill and it is awesome to see that all those hours of hard work in the studio paid off,” says Mario.

It is also during this event that the dancers received awards for their hard work over the past year.

With 2013 almost over, the dancers from Mario Gomes Hip Hop Dance Academy will now take a well deserved break for the festive season and will start the new year early in 2014.

“This was a remarkable year for my dance academy and I want to thank each and every dancer for their hard work and dedication towards their dancing. I believe that 2014 will be an even greater year for these dancer,” says Mario.
